Conceptual Design and Selection of Natural Fibre Reinforced Biopolymer Composite (NFBC) Takeout Food Container

نویسندگان

چکیده

Biopolymer composite has gained huge attention for its beneficial properties such as biodegradable and less impact to the environment. This consequently would diminish dependency on petroleum-based polymer. Abundance of studies have been done development characterization biopolymer materials food packaging application, but work conceptual design product is hardly found. Using Kano Model, Quality Function Deployment Environment (QFDE), morphological map, Analytic Hierarchy Method (AHP) framework combination, this paper presents a natural fibre reinforced composites take-out container. To understand customer satisfaction with current use takeout containers, model was applied, findings were integrated into QFDE. The highest weight voices environment (VOCE) solution parameters characteristics later refined using aid chart (MC) systematically develop designs. Lastly, AHP utilized pick final concept design. score (8.3%) chosen

Machining of Fibre Reinforced Plastic Composite Materials

Fibre reinforced plastic composite materials are difficult to machine because of the anisotropy and inhomogeneity characterizing their microstructure and the abrasiveness of their reinforcement components. During machining, very rapid cutting tool wear development is experienced, and surface integrity damage is often produced in the machined parts. An accurate selection of the proper tool and m...

Natural Fibre Reinforced Biodegradable Polymer Composites

Currently, numerous research groups have explored the production and properties of biocomposites where the polymer matrices are derived from renewable resources such as poly lactide (PLA), thermoplastic starch (TPS), cellulose and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs). This review is carried out to evaluate the development and properties of natural fibre reinforced biodegradable polymer composites. They...

Tooth Replacement Using Natural Tooth Pontic with Fibre Reinforced Composite: A Conservative Approach

With advances in material science and technology multitude of treatment options are available for traumatically missing anterior tooth. It can be implants, porcelain to metal bridges, Maryland bridges or orthodontic treatment. Development of fibre-reinforced composites (FRCs) has opened a new perspective in such cases. The fibre-reinforced composites have better flexural strength and fracture r...

Fatigue Damage Modelling of Fibre-reinforced Composite Materials: Review

This paper presents a review of the major fatigue models and life time prediction methodologies for fibrereinforced polymer composites, subjected to fatigue loadings. In this review, the fatigue models have been classified in three major categories: fatigue life models, which do not take into account the actual degradation mechanisms but use S-N curves or Goodman-type diagrams and introduce som...

Bonding of fibre-reinforced composite post to root canal dentin.

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to determine bonding properties of two types of fibre-reinforced composite (FRC) posts cemented into root canals of molars. Serrated titanium posts served as reference. METHODS Prefabricated carbon/graphite FRC posts with cross-linked polymer matrix and individually formed glass FRC posts with interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) polymer matrix were compa...
